Digital Advanced Multichannel Vehicle Intercom System

The D-AMCVIS (Digital Advanced Multichannel Vehicle Intercom System) is a robust, military-grade solution tailored for armored vehicles, military ground operations, and high-stakes security environments. Designed for maximum durability and reliability in challenging conditions, this advanced intercom system allows for uninterrupted communication across multiple audio circuits, ensuring clear coordination between vehicle occupants and command centers.



With support for up to four radio ports and 10 intercom station interfaces, the D-AMCVIS is engineered to facilitate seamless, multi-channel communication within tactical vehicles. Whether operating in ground combat situations, aerial operations, or naval missions, this system ensures that every team member remains connected, enhancing situational awareness and mission efficiency.

System Components
  • IMU (Intercom Master Unit):
    The IMU connects crew members, commanders, and attached commercial or military radios (“green gear”), serving as the centralized hub for vehicle communication.
  • ICU (Intercom Control Unit):
    Specifically tailored for SOF warfighters, the ICU offers individual controls for adjusting listening levels and includes a selector switch to choose from 4 radio channels. Two Push-to-Talk buttons enable users to activate either the selected radio channel or the intercom, facilitating communication with all vehicle occupants.

  • Headsets:
    Compatible with all commercial and military radios, including those with active noise reduction (ANR) capabilities, ensuring clear communication in high-noise environments.
  • Radio Bridging Circuit:
    Enables seamless integration and interoperability between different radio systems, ensuring consistent communication across varied platforms.
Mission Features and Capabilities
  • Digital Control:
    Select to monitor one or both radios and independently set listening levels for both radios and the intercom. Independent Crewman Controls: Each crew member can independently select which radio to transmit on, ensuring precise and controlled communication.
  • Compact Form Factor:
    The ICU is a small, rugged, clip-on assembly that includes volume controls, intercom P-T-T, radio P-T-T, radio selection, and a TJ-101 headset jack. Its wearable design permits easy access and mobility for the user.
  • Ease of Use:
    Designed with user mobility in mind, the ICU’s wearable design allows for quick access and intuitive operation, even in the most challenging conditions.
  • Compatibility:
    The D-AMCVIS is compatible with all commercial and military radios and headsets, including those with electret condenser or dynamic microphones, as well as active noise reduction (ANR) headsets. It also offers backward compatibility with older model radios.
