Mission-Critical Vehicle Communications

C-AT ComForce is a battle-proven Vehicle Intercom System (VIS) designed to deliver clear, reliable crew communications in demanding operational environments. Trusted in global deployments, ComForce supports legacy analog radios, modern digital radios, and mesh communications within a single rugged platform.

Designed for tactical, armored, and emergency response vehicles, ComForce enables crew-to-crew, crew-to-radio, and crew-to-command communications, providing the clarity and control operators need when communication directly impacts mission success.

C-AT ComForce

Advanced Multichannel Vehicle Intercom System

C-AT ComForce is a military-grade Vehicle Intercom System engineered for armored vehicles, tactical ground platforms, and high-risk operational environments. Designed for durability and reliability, ComForce enables uninterrupted communications across multiple audio circuits, ensuring clear coordination between vehicle occupants and command elements.

With support for up to four radio ports and ten intercom station interfaces, ComForce is built for simultaneous, multi-channel operations, allowing crews to manage internal communications while operating multiple radios in real time.

ComForce is designed to support operations across a wide range of mission profiles, including ground combat vehicles, security patrol platforms, armored convoys, mobile command posts, and disaster response vehicles.

Its hybrid architecture allows agencies and military units to modernize communications without abandoning existing equipment, making ComForce ideal for mixed fleets, coalition operations, and long-lifecycle platforms.

D-AMCVIS
System Components
  • IMU (Intercom Master Unit):

The IMU serves as the central communications backbone of the ComForce system, managing audio routing between crew members, commanders, and connected commercial or military radios. Designed for mission-critical reliability, the IMU coordinates multiple audio paths simultaneously, ensuring clear, stable vehicle-wide communications even under high-load, high-noise conditions.

Its robust architecture supports multi-radio integration, system scalability, and future expansion, providing a stable foundation for both legacy and modern communications within the vehicle.

  • ICU (Intercom Control Unit):

Designed with input from SOF warfighters and vehicle operators, the ICU provides each crew member independent control over intercom and radio audio levels in high-stress environments. A selector switch allows users to choose from up to four radio channels, while dedicated push-to-talk controls enable precise, intentional communication based on who the operator chooses to communicate with and at what volume, without affecting other crew members.

Optional System Components
  • Headsets:
ComForce is headset-agnostic, supporting commercial and military headsets, including active noise reduction (ANR) models. This flexibility reduces gear complexity, simplifies logistics, and lets teams use the headsets they already trust, without being locked into proprietary accessories.
  • Radio Bridging Circuit:

Enables seamless integration and interoperability between multiple radio systems, supporting consistent communications across mixed fleets and varied platforms. Ideal for operations where different radios must work together without adding unnecessary complexity.

Mission Features and Capabilities
  • Digital Control
Monitor one or both radios and independently set listening levels for both radios and the intercom. Each crew member can independently select which radio to transmit on, enabling precise, controlled communications without interfering with other positions.
  • Independent Crew Controls
Each crew member controls their own talk path and volume, choosing who to communicate with and at what level, improving clarity and reducing missed calls in high-stress environments.
  • Compact Form Factor
The ICU is a small, rugged, wearable control unit with volume controls, intercom PTT, radio PTT, radio selection, and a headset interface. Its clip-on design supports quick access and mobility inside the vehicle.
  • Ease of Use
Designed for intuitive operation under stress. Controls are simple, tactile, and fast to access, minimizing training time and enabling confident use even in challenging conditions.
  • Compatibility
Compatible with commercial and military radios and headsets, including electret condenser or dynamic microphones and ANR headsets. Supports backward compatibility with older radio models and reduces reliance on proprietary equipment.
  • Rapid Deployment
Designed for quick installation and removal, allowing ComForce to be rapidly fielded, repositioned, or reconfigured as mission requirements change.
  • Scalable Architecture:
Designed to support fleet-wide deployment and future expansion as mission requirements evolve.
